The Flagstaff Group is pleased to introduce Kristy Ford our Level 3 Specialist Support Coordinator. Kristy provides Specialist Support to NDIS participants in the Illawarra, Macarthur and Shoalhaven regions.
The role of a Specialist Support Coordinator is to assist participants to manage any immediate and significant barriers or risks that might affect the supports needed to meet individual NDIS goals by providing an expert and specialist person-centred approach.
Kristy has more than 20 years experience working in the disability sector and has an array of qualifications including a Bachelor of Community Welfare. She has previous experience in Day Programs, Transition to Work, Respite and as a Case Manager. This experience, together with her qualifications, have been invaluable to her current role providing Support Coordination.
Kristy has provided an insight into a range of issues that are important to the disability community. She works collaboratively with people to design the supports they need to overcome challenges and achieve the goals that are important to them.
