Flagstaff is happy to announce the expansion of its Support Coordination team in the Macarthur region with new team member Deepak.
Having worked in India and Nepal in child advocacy and disability, Deepak brings with him detailed knowledge of welfare and disability frameworks across different cultures and countries.
Deepak speaks fluent Hindi, Nepalese and Punjabi and is passionate about supporting participants from CALD backgrounds throughout the Macarthur region.
Using the skills learnt from his time at Monash University (Masters of Social Work) Deepak spends his days working with participants to achieve, navigate and implement their NDIS goals and plans. Along with his colleagues, he is dedicated to bringing positive change through capacity building supports. A person-centered approach is guaranteed with participants at the heart of every decision.
When asked about working at Flagstaff, Deepak said, “ I have worked in different countries, in different states and for other organisations but none have been as supportive and helpful as Flagstaff’s Support Coordination team.”
