Look Good Feel Good!

As part of its Therapeutic Supports offering, Flagstaff is pleased to announce the addition of a nutritionist to the team, Natalie Face, who will be offering services throughout the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Macarthur local government areas in order to assist participants reach daily, healthy lifestyle goals.

Having studied food in various capacities over the past 14 years, and recently completing a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Wollongong, Natalie is committed to breaking the cycle of unhealthy eating patterns, educating individuals on the health benefits of food to prevent sickness and to improve overall wellbeing.

When asked what she liked about food, Natalie’s response was “Food is everywhere, it’s essential for life! It’s enjoyable and social. Food can be fun!” Natalie does not believe in restrictions (where possible), rather helping participants balance food nutrients for optimal health.

“Health at every size is important, I like to work with people on what food items and practices are accessible, affordable and achievable.”

When consulting, Natalie asks participant’s a range of questions covering how they live, where they shop and what they eat. Goals are broken down into achievable targets which are recorded for participants to follow.
